I don’t know what it is about Dejan Tubic’s choreography that I just don’t feel. I think I liked the first video I saw from him, but there’s a certain quality that I just feel very meh about. I think it might be because I see some of the same moves in every piece of his I see, particularly if he choreographs with Janelle. Maybe he relates with the rhythm of the songs in different ways than I would. And there’s probably a piece of his that I really enjoy.  Especially since he choreographs outside of his classes. If I find a video, I will post it and tell you what I like and enjoy. In this one, I really enjoy the swing-like drops. They have a good bit of emotion that makes me feel like someone is giving up.

I know I have friends who like a lot of his work. Speak up! What do you think?
